How we got Hooked
Hooked On Seasoning was born right here at home in Austin, Texas, with movie night popcorn and a quest for craveable flavor. We started with simple nutritional yeast, and over the years, perfected the blend to give you all something you will truly get hooked on. Popcorn, avocado toast, pasta, salad, try it on anything you want to taste amazing!
Who we are
We are family owned and operated, producing a seasoning blend that started in our kitchen and can now be shared worldwide. Beth is the mom-turned-chef, and everyone in the family brings unique talent to the company: branding, content, packaging, film-making, bookkeeping. It takes the whole family! We have lived in Austin, Texas, for over 30 years, and we are all graduates of The University. Hook 'em!
What's in the bag
Our seasoning is a blend of simple, fresh ingredients that make the snacks you get Hooked On so much more than tasty. Because nutritional yeast is the primary ingredient, Hooked On Original and The Yellow One are packed with protein and fiber. We add only a small amount of low-sodium salt, so the product tastes amazing while also being low in sodium. We use no artificial ingredients and no preservatives. We keep our batches small so you get the freshest product every time. Here's the ingredient list, and please note we manufacture in a facility that also manufactures wheat and soy products and there could be cross-contamination: Nutritional Yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, mild red chile, parsley, chives, dill, black pepper, low-sodium salt, ascorbic acid.
